Nonetheless, I continue undaunted and proceed to take that first bite because melted cheese and me got a thing going on. Nuthin’ fancy – American or Muenster (couldn’t get umlaut) works fine, just crank up the heat till we reach the boiling point. Melting point? Note in the above photo, the uneven melting between the pieces of demi-baguette. I should’ve started with the piece on the right if I was thinking straight but I did not heed this visual informational warning. Maybe I like the burn?
